Mac attacks the stairs

I was really nervous about how Mac would do in the new house with stairs, lots of stairs. Grandma Lemon worked with him quite a bit to get him to go down on his tummy.

He has gotten really good at it. He has only fallen twice, but has recoved well both times:)

A'mooh and Patrice

A'mooh and Patrice had a conference in Utah so we got to hang out! The girls thought it was super sweet they could go swimming.

Welcome to Utah SUCKA

Dia was nice enough to drive with me and the kids and the dogs to Utah for the first time. It was a good thing too because I think I would have had a heart attack. The house we rented is on the top, the very tip top of point of the mountain in Draper. So it is way, way, way up high. I kept telling Dia "I think we missed the turn" But we haddn't. The house is really pretty. The snow too I guess if you like that sorta thing. This is a picture of our back yard that first weekend. Notice how it is about to Mark's waist. Is snowed so bad my Dad's truck could not make it up the street. I just kept thinking "what the hell!"

Maissie and Makenna

Maissie and Makenna have been buds since we moved into our house. They are so cute together. Maissie was extremely sad about moving because she had to leave Makenna. The last night before we left for Utah Makenna's Mom Laura (who is also one of my great friends) suggested we take the girls to Build-a-Bear. It was so cute. They were so excited and thrilled to be there. They had to make sure they chose wisely (so it took forever just to decide what to get). But they were so happy the entire time.

Good bye house

We had to say good bye to our house. I loved it. We had so many memories there. And great neighbors too. I will really miss it.

Teddy Bear Picnic

MJ had a Teddy bear picnic at school. Grandma Lemon was helping pack up, so she was able to go.

And Jens got in too. Mac was there also, but he didn't make it into the pictures.

And for the record, while we were having a picnic, Chrystal was at our house packing it up.

Mac attack turns 1

I seriously do not know how we lucked out with this kid. He is the sweetest little boy. I can not get enough of him. I can not believe (and am kinda sad) that he is already 1!! And the poor kid got a bummer of a bday because we were in the middle of moving. But check this cutie out.

the day after his bday he went to the Dr because of an ear infection :(. He is adorable even when his is sick.

a little late, but he still got his cup cake- and loved it!

Tia Dia

We are so excited to FINALLY have Dia as a Tia. She is so great, and the girls can not wait for her to get married.

100 day

For 100s day MJ wanted to do 100 pipe cleaners. So she (and a little me, but mostly she)made things and we stuck them on a shirt. She is very artistic like her dad :). I was very proud of her for making all the different things.

The Mitten

MJ had a play at school "The Mitten"
I volunteered to bring treats. Chrystal made the mittens, the girls and I made the cupcakes. They were really cute.

MJ was the mouse (very fitting because we call her Maissie Mouse)

She did a great job. All of the kids were singing, but she got to sing a part into the mic.

Look how tall she is!! She thought the tail was the best part of the costume

Her teacher, Mrs. Dove, is one of the very best. We are so lucky to have her.

It was so cute. Maissie did a great job.

It does not get any better

I am lucky enough to know one of the best persons on the planet. AND she even humors me and lets me call her my bestie. The last month has been . . . crazy to say the least. Chrystal helped me manage through it. She is a miracle worker. She got Jens to take a nap, packed my house, fed me, made decorations for MJ's class, solved the worlds problems etc. yep, pretty much phenomenal.

I am sad the picture is not better, but if you look closely at their stomachs, their names are written. Pretty impressive that MJ could write it upside down so well. Funny that Jens would let her do it.
