Award for MJ

Maissie got an award for achieving all her goals for first grade.  I love this picture because it shows how tall she is.  But also it shows how short her teacher (Miss Brooks, who we loved) is.  She is standing behind the second kid if you didn't notice.

Mac's big boy bed

Mac started climbing out of his crib, so we converted it to a toddler bed.  All and all he has been great about staying there,  but he has a few times where he has ended up in funny places.

Jens end of preschool

Jens had a great year in preschool with Mrs. Wixom.  She loved it! The last day they did this great program where they sang songs.  Of course she had to have her fancy dress, and her hair the way she wanted it:).  We were proud she did so well.

we let Maissie  miss some school to come see the program

Color me mine

I tried to get the kids out of the house as much as possible while Mark was working on the landscape.  So one day we went to color me mine.

Baby Alpaca

I have met a great amazing person-Elaine.  I call her my garden angel because she is helping me with our garden, and she knows everything!!! AND she has alpacas.  AND one of her alpacas had a baby! This picture is of the 2 hour old alpaca.

Trackers!

We are working on our landscaping.  Mac thinks it is the best thing that ever happened because of the tracters.  He would just stare out the window watching them.

This is Mac playing hide and so seek
And Mac loves to do his own hair.

MJ's first grade program

Maissie had her first grade program.  Of course it was super cute.  They sang songs they had learned all year long.

Jens did her best to sing along.  It was Mac's nap time.

This was take one- Mj didn't want Jens in the pitcture

The opera

For Christmas we got tickets to the symphony or opera of our choice from the parents.  We had never been to the opera, so we went.  We got a late start, so we were racing to get there.  Mark dropped me off so I could get the tickets from will-call, and he could find a place to park.  Only, we went to the wrong place! We were suppose to be at the Capitol Theater.  So I had to chase him down, and get to the right place.  Lucky for us we made it. The opera was Of Mice and Men.  I got the giggles when it started, and couldn't stop.  Mark and I thought we should start talking to our kids that way.
It was a great evening, but what evening isn't great when I get to spend it with Mark:)
