Baby Mac turns 2 months

Man how time flies. Our baby Mac is already 2 months.

back yard camp out

Mark was home alone with the girls, and they decided to go on a camp out-- in the backyard. It was a huge hit!! They made smores, roasted hot dogs and watched a movie in the tent.

Mac's Blessing

We really wanted to make sure that my grandma could come to baby Mac's blessing- so we quickly decided to have it last Sunday. It was really special for us, and we appreciated all that were able to make it.

Maissie and Makenna

Maissie has the cutest bestie ever! They do a lot together because they get along so well ( and it works our perfect for me and Makenna's mom :))
They even sometimes have the same shirt! (this was St. Patricks day)
This is their singing group Twist and Shout. They love to sing the songs in the car together.
AND they are on the same soccer team! We are hoping some of Makenna's athleticism will rub off on Maissie :)
AND, they are in the same preschool class. I love it!

who is that?

This guy walked in with my brother Clark- I kept looking at him thinking hmmm. Turns out it was my other brother Arthur- he had cut his hair. Check it out.

Before- Arthur with his son Evan Miracle Miles
After, with Nonna and Amooh

Thanks Patrice

We have a dear family friend- or friend who is now family- Patrice. She is great! We all love her, especially Jens :) She was so kind to take almost all of the pictures at Macade's blessing/party.
Someone managed to get a picture of her.
Thanks Patrice!

thank goodness for grandparents

Our parents have helped us out so much- especially this last couple months with Macades coming along. MJ went to Roosevelt for a week to hang out with the Lemon's. She had a great time, and did not really want to come home.
We asked MJ if she wanted anything special when she got home. She said she wanted a cake that said "Welcome Home Maissie we missed you" and she said she wanted it pink with chocolate letters.

Oh Sweet Jensy

I gave Jens a tootsie roll when we were in the car. A few min later she said she had something in her nose. I didn't think any thing of it and kept going. She kept telling me the same thing. So at the stop light I looked in her nose and couldn't see anything.
We got home and a little while later she told me again there was something in her nose. So remembering the last time she told me this- I got the flash light out and took a look. Sure enough, there was the entire tootsie roll wrapper so far up her nose I had to get out the tweezers. The next time I gave her a tootsie roll she told "no wrapper in my nose." Hopefully she has learned.

the happy and sad amaryllis

My Dad gave us a couple amaryllis flowers. These are perfect flowers for the impatient (i.e. me) They grow super fast.
This is a picture of Jens:
The one on the left is MJs- not quite as happy.
