The girls were really excited for Father's Day. They (mostly Maissie) made a scavenger hunt for Mark to find his present. It was fun for me to watch.

another one gone
This tooth would not come out!! It was literally hanging for a couple of days.
How did she finally get it out? Mark convinced her to tie floss from her tooth to the bottom of a twirly office chair. The plan was Mark would twirl the chair, but just after he got it tied to her tooth she went to sit up to back out of the deal, and pop- out came the tooth.

Doggie Dogs
The kids like to play "dog"
MJ got really into it and wanted to be a brown dog with floppy ears, and dots for whiskers, and a dog tongue (aka chap stick dots and tongue)

Cancer walk in Vernal
Vernal does a cancer walk where they get pledges, and then walk all night long around the high school track. We only lasted until about 9:30. But we had a great time.
Cancer survivors got a purple medal
There was a bounce house and it was a huge hit with the kids
Jens did not want to tie the balloon to her wrist, so she tied it to her pig tails.

Mac loved the balloons and balloon arch.
Digging for treasure
Jens yelling: Mommy! I swallowed my penny!! I think I might throw up in the night.
MJ: OOO, then you can dig for treasure.

When I grow up . . .
We were driving up the mountain (we currently live on the tip top of a mountain) and
MJ said: I think they should put up lights so people can see the deer and not hit them."
Me: That is a great idea. They really should.
MJ: When I grow up, I am going to build lights.
Jens: When I grow up I am going to be a fighter fighter
MJ: When I grow up I am going to build lights all over the world. Then no deer would get hurt because people would see them.

sibling love
This is an excellent documentation of a day in the life of us. Maissie wants to help with Mac, but hits Jens, and then Jens screams and crys. Meanwhile, Mac sleeps.
Just Dance
Maissie's school does this great dance day where each greade performs a dance, and the last dance the entire school does together. It was great to watch. The kindergartners were raisins and did Heard It Through the Grape Vine.

Mac looked out the window . . .
Mac is just the right size to look out the front window. So he does, a lot. The snow melted so Mark could mow the lawn. This was so cute, Mac would wave at Mark when Mark was facing him. The dogs like to look out the window too.
