I was beyond thrilled when my Aunt Ramona came to visit with her kids. It was so much fun. We played outside, made a fort in the basement, had movie night, went to the zoo. It was awesome. The only bad part was it was too short. I am sure next summer it will be longer! Hint Hint.

after the hike
After the hike we drove around a bit looking for a place to cook some lunch/dinner and fish. We ended up at this little lake that was perfect. Mark, Mike and the kids fished (with no success) for a few hours while Lis and I had a Dr. Pepper.
Finally as we were packing up Mark's fishing pole that he let sit in the lake caught a little fish. It was not big enough to keep, but they had a really hard time getting it unhooked.
It was such a great day. I think it should be an annual thing!

| This picture is priceless. If only I could blow it up. hmmm |

| It took so long to get the fish off the hook I thought for sure it was dead. But Mark said it was alive. |
Nebo loop with the Malmgrens
At the beginning of the summer we had talked with the Malmgrens about camping. By the time our schedules could work out, I was not hot on the idea of camping. So we did the next best thing- day camp. We went to Nebo Loop and hiked a very cool trail that ended at a waterfall.

Take me out to the ballgame
We tried out a baseball game. Mostly to remind us why we don't go to more. But the blue cotton candy was a huge hit!

UBIC
We went to UBIC (Unita Basin in Celebration) which happens to be the best parade ever. The kids get more candy than at Halloween! And this year for the kids craft they made this super cool hats out of butcher paper.

Fishing!
We spent an exciting weekend in Roosevelt. Mark decided it would be fun to go fishing. He took the kids out and didn't have much luck. Then I went out with them and we were catching fish every few minutes. Unfortunately only one was big enough to keep-The one Maissie caught
