After Maissie's baptism we had a little dinner. And then we headed out to Temple Square to see the lights!

Maissie Jane's Baptism

Maissie was able to get baptized the day after her birthday! It happened to be on Thanksgiving weekend, and almost everyone on both sides of the immediate family were there (We missed auntie Em's fam).  I am sorry we did not get a big group picture. It was a wonderful occasion and she was very happy, as were her parents :)

Look who is 8

Maissie had almost the entire Family (grandparents, and uncles and aunts) here for her birthday.  I think she had a great day. She was the most pleased with the Slurpee maker she got.

Mark and Jessie aka Jens and Mac

Mac and Jens keep going in our closet and putting on our clothes and play Mark and Jessie.  It was super funny and cute the first couple of time.  But the destroyed closet got old fast.  I do think it is funny that Mac wears my shoes some times, not Marks.  

Jeepin in Moab

We were lucky enough to be invited to go with the Whites (Mark's cousins) to Moab to go Jeeping.  And it was FANTASTIC! I never imagined we would drive on what we did.  It was a thrill. And the kids loved it too.  We woke up be fore the sun, met them in Moab, jeeped all day, spent the night at Hetal's family hotel, got up the next morning early, Jeeped some more, then went home.  I am so glad we did it.  Even though there is one part where I had to pray really hard because we got stuck in a tight spot, but we made it:)

Halloween Festival

I found this great school that puts on a Halloween Festival.  They have games, prizes and train rides.  The girls played the games, all Mac wanted to do was ride the train. It was a beautiful day, and perfect for the occasion.  Mark stayed home and painted the porch

Pumpkins to Jack-oLanterns

We planted a bunch of pumpkin plants, but we only got 3 pumpkins.  Ginny (our neighbor) got a ton, so she was nice enough to share with us. So we carved one, and colored/stickered the others.

just a little conference hike

We decided we would check out Silver Lake and do the little walk around the lake.  It was so pretty! I think we will have to do it again :)

Baby Giraffe at the Zoo

There was a new baby Giraffe born at the zoo, so we went to check it out.  

We saw some other really cool things too, like the Polar Bear.  She was so cool, she kept swimming right up to the glass.
