Herb Garden

We plated another garden this year.  But I am most excited about the herbs we planted.

Lego Zoo

We love the Zoo.  We try to go there as much as possible.  They reciently had animals made from Legos, which was almost as cool as the real deal.

Phishy!! (in an angry voice)

I love Phishy.  He is great with the kids.  But he is not the sharpest dog on the planet.

 This is Phishy taking a nap, and he did not seem to notice or care that Mac was coloring him.  Mac said he just wanted Phish to be pretty.

This is Phishy with a sticky mouse trap stuck on his feet.  It was so funny.  When he walked it sounded like  he was wearing heels.

This is Phishy all muddy, after he had already had a bath once that day.

 And this is an all time classic.  This is Phisy with a bone stuck around his mouth.  We had to work on him for a while before we got it off.

Jens tooth #2

Jens has had a much different approach to teeth pulling than Maissie.  She yanks them as soon as they are a little wiggly.  She came up stairs one night with her tooth.  She said she ripped it out when she was biting her blanket.  Yeah, ewe. But she as sure proud!

Spring Soccer 2013

We thought it might be fun to do Spring soccer this year.  Jens was a Pink Piggy, and Maissie was Red Lady Bugs.  They did a great job.  This was the second season with the same coach for Jens, and he really helped her.  She would actually run, and even had an assist.  She really liked the girls on her team.

Maissie showed great improvement! She was really good at defense.  She had some excellent blocks, kicks, and got to be goalie too.  She played with her neighborhood friends, Sadie and Lorin.

We were happy the girls did it, and we are happy to never do Spring ball again.  It was Freezing cold at the beginning (literally.  I had to sit in the car for 5 min just for my hands to warm up enough to drive). The jury is still out on Fall ball.

Our awesome neighbor gave us tickets to the Dinsour Exhibit. The kids got a kick out of it.

My super fantastic Mom came and gave an excellent talk at BYU.  I was really happy I was able to go hear her, and meet some of her colleagues. 

Grandpa went to hear the talk too, but he did manage to squeeze in a nap with the Mac.

Maissie's field trip to the Zoo.

I was able to go on Maissie's field trip to the zoo.  We had a great group of girls in our group.  It was raining all morning, but then stopped long enough for us to check everything out.

Jensyn's field trip to the Childrens Museum happened to be on the same day.  I was not able to go because I had already said I would go with Maissie's class.  Jensyn had a really had time, and almost did not go.  She did go, and was happy she did.

Swimming Lessons

Jens and Mac had swimming lessons, and I thought they were so good.  It is normally really hard for me to watch the lessons because I am overly critical of the lesson, but these ones were pretty good.  And the kids loved it!
