Lagoon!!!!

The Talbots (My Aunt Ramona and 5.75 kids) came to town! And it was nothing but a great time.  Could be that we went to Lagoon!! It was epic.  

My Aunt Ramona is nothing less than super woman.  She did Lagoon, with 5 kids, and 8 month preggers. A-mazing

Highlights of the day: Haley riding Wicked 7 times- the most of all of us. Swimming, and almost losing Ry. Ice Cream and french fries for dinner. Running, non stop from when the park opened until it closed.  Could not have been a better day!!

We got to hang out with the Stevens while we were all in Vegas.

Jen missed out on Circus Circus because she went to the Ranch with Grandpa.
We even had a night out with out the kids, but did not manage to get any pictures of us with Joel and Lindsay.

Fire Fighters are so cool

AK was nice enough to take us on a tour of his fire station.  It was a huge hit.  The kids absolutely loved it.

It was really cool, and really nice of AK to show us around on his day off.

Trip home

We spent the week at Amooh and Grandpa's house.  It was fantastic.  We all love that Grandpa is retired and can play and cook with us! The kids swam as much as possible, and managed to do their toes.

Draper Parade

I am always down for a Parade.  And Utah has a bazillion in the Summer.  The only one we were able to catch was the Draper Parade.  It was fun of course, but super hot.  We did not quite make it to the end. And we didn't get the memo that most people park their RVs on the parade route the night before. We are still figuring this Utah stuff out. Grandma and Grandpa Lemon came too, but I didn't get a picture of them.

Draper Days

We went to the Draper Days Bike parade for the first time this year.  It was great! We got there and they had all these fun things to decorate the bikes with.  We got all our bikes decked out, and then . . . it started to pour rain.  And most if not all of the decorations fell off.  But the rain stopped, and they did the parade around the block.  They had planned all these activities at the end of the parade, but it started pouring down rain.  So we ran back to the car.

 The kids got a kick out of the vanilla wafer cookie shapes.  Except Jens and the dogs.  They passed out.

Lemon Reunion at Rock Creek

We ventured out for the Lemon Reunion. It was in a new place this year, so Mark google mapped it.  There were two routes, and one was an hour shorter.  We choose the shorter.  It was really pretty, until we turned on this road.

 And it got worse! It was really pretty, but really bumpy.  And not really an hour shorter.  We were pretty nervous when we had no cell service, and were already over google mile marker and timer.  But we made it!

I am mad that I did not get more pictures because the place was beautiful! Although, it did rain an entire day we were there.  Maissie had a great time riding bikes around the camp site, and went for a bike ride with Grandpa Lemon. Mac and Jens had a great time on the little play ground.  We had homemade rootbeer and ice cream, scones, and cobbler.  It was a lot of fun.  And I was very thankful for the trailer.

It was a great day for a hike.  We were suppose to be at the ranch, but had to come home early because water was left on in our backyard, part of our fence blew down, and Phish ran away.  We got everything fixed, found the dumb dog, then went for a hike :)
