Happy Happy Happy Anniversary!

Happy 34th Anniversary Mom and Dad!!

Weekend at the Ranch

We had a work weekend at the Ranch. We cleaned for like 5 hours straight. BUT it was totally needed and worth it. But we did manage to get some play in as well.

MJ loved the "stick swing" at the old house, and I think Mark did too

We all had fun on the tramp

When MJ dresses herself

I am so happy that MJ can do a lot of things for herself. However, when I asked her to get dressed this is what she came up with: backward shirt and socks, PJ shorts, old worn out shoes. I think this picture might come in handy when she starts getting picky about what she has to wear.

Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny came to our house. MJ was all ready for it, but Jens took a minute to catch on- but once she did she was all over it.
Grandpa and A'mooh got the girls bunny aprons. They loved them and wore them most the morning.
Spring dresses are so much fun.

And just for the record, I did Jens hair, and it lasted long enough to take a picture.
We ended the day by coloring eggs. Yeah, most people do that before Easter, but not for us this year.

The Fair

We went to the county fair in the big town (how big does it have to be to be considered a town?) of Logandale. We had quite the crowd (Great Grandma Kathryn, Jennifer, Grandma Lemon, Dave, Sam, Mark, Jessie, MJ and Jensyn) and I thought it was super. I love to see all the animals esp the little piglets. This year we were able to get super close and touch them. I even let one nibble my finger. But, like most things, WAY more cute as babies. Jens got a huge kick out of the goats and sheep. (more pictures to come, I have to get them from Sam)
MJ thought the rides that went around in a circle were awesome.Notice the little girl's face behind her? Apparently they had extreme face painting. MJ and that little girl had quite the conversation before the ride started. No idea what about, but they were talking pretty seriously. This is a picture of the beginning of a sugar crash/no sleep breakdown. Don't worry it got worse. But we all made it home safe :).

We Love Uncle Carlos

We made a quick trip to Cali to see (kind of, there were so many people we didn't actually SEE him, but we were there) Uncle Carlos become a US citizen. It was pretty much fun. We ate at a Vietnamese restaurant, stayed at a super cool hotel, saw 3000? people sworn in, and ate at a super citrus restaurant.

We love Carlos so much. He is a beautiful person.(I am actually writing this like a month later because I am pretty much a slacker and just now getting it posted)

Fun Fun Fun

Sat we tried to pack as many things as we could in one day. Started out at the gym, then went to Hafen for Mayor ralley/walk.

We took the "uncles" (minus Arth in Cali) to Red Rock.

Stopped by the store.

Played on the Merry-Go-Round

and flew the kite at the park- MJ even did it all by her self!

Quack Quack

We went to the feed the ducks, only the ducks were not at the least bit interested in eating.

Is the water suppose to look like that???

Arthur was here and the girls couldn't get enough off him.

I couldn't resist this picture of Sam and Jens. Just maybe she is getting to tall for the walk under the legs game?

Going Green

Sat. We went to the St. Patty's Day Parade. We were late (you know, I was up late partying, and wasn't moving too fast that am) and we didn't get a great spot . . . THAT is until someone up and left a bench wide open for us. Yeah for us. (this is MJ covering her ears because of the Harley's)

We made sure to wear our Hafen for Mayor shirts.

MJ liked the clown garbage can . . . not so much the real clown though.

Water Polo

Friday we (MJ and I) got ambitious and drove to Cedar City to watch our cousin Garrett play in a water polo tournament. It was pretty much awesome. Garrett did a great job and it was so much fun to watch. He is such a super bueno guy.

I am so glad we went. (Even when it was midnight and we were still driving home).
