All dressed up

We all dressed up for Halloween this year. This is at our Trunk-o-Treat.
Mark was Blue Man
I was a Cowgirl (I am already Jessie)
MJ was Ariel
Jens was Tigger
Mac was Mickey Mouse

When the girls were trick-or-treating they went up to a very scary decorated house. The guy opened the door and had a scary mask on. The girls went running away and the guy came out took his mask off and tried to get them to come back. Jens said to MJ "Dont worry Maissie, I will protect you!" Then she kept saying it for the rest of the houses.

Pumpkin Pumkin who has the pumpkin

In Nevada you have to wait til T-minus 5 days to carve a pumpkin or else it will rot. So here is our adventure in carving:

The girls got the "gutz" out, and Mark carved an excellent Ariel, Snow White, and Tigger. And like the awesomeness that I am, forgot to get a picture before the pumpkins rotted.
But, while Mark was carving, the girls did their potato head pumpkins:

Halloween!!!!

We had a fun filled Halloween weekend! We kicked it off freezing at MJ's school Halloween festival. It was cold, but it was still exciting. They had lots of games and prizes.

Saturday we got up and headed to another Fall Festival. This one has been our favorite for the last couple of years. They have candy, face painting, bounce houses, and balloon makers.

Jens wanted Nemo, MJ wanted Hello Kitty. They got their hair colored too.

They milked a fake cow- or played in water.

MJ really wanted to go down this huge slide. She was really brave and did not need any help. Some how Mark convinced Jens to do it with him-- I am not sure she had as much fun.

The balloon maker was amazing. I should have taken more pictures of what he was making. The girls were happy with their butterflies.

oh Halloween, how I Love you

We were able to go to the Springs Preserve for their Halloween event. It was so much fun. The kids got to go around and trick or treat, they played games, made cookies, and did crafts. Good times!

Jens got tired of the tigger suit

Camping

We didnt get a good camp trip in this fall. So we decided that backyard would work. And benefit of backyard camping is watching a movie too.

Baby Macade is 8 months!

Can this boy be any sweeter?? Can you see his teethies? He has 2 on the bottom and the top 2 are just starting to come in.

that's our Jensy

Jensy keeps us on our toes. She has been busy lately:

She started preschool and likes it for the most part. The first couple of days she cried. And when I tried to take her she cried for her Daddy. But she soon got into the swing of things, and asks everyday if it is a preschool day. She thinks she is big now she gets to go to school like MJ.
We are not sure what happened here- couldn't get a clear story from the girls. This is how we found her when we went to check on her at bed time. Not sure if MJ or Jens colored on the face.

You know something is not quite right when it is quiet. So much for all the Dora stickers.
We can not get a nap outta her everyday, but every once in a while she crashed pretty hard.

Maissie had a little Lamb

We are so happy with Maissie's teacher this year. She does lots of fun stuff with the kids. This was a picture that she got to choose how she decorated. Candy was a good choice!

Jens got in on it too
Mac was happy just watching

She had a nursery rhyme program where all the kids memorized a nursery rhyme and sang some too. It was really too cute.

Happy Birthday to Mark- a little late

Mark was in Utah for his Birthday, so we have been celebrating here and there. He did get a bread maker and has been having a lot of fun with it.
He even made Ghost pretzels.
