We went out to Roosevelt for the Unita Basin Celebration! We kicked it off at the parade. This year it went right in front of Grandpa's office!
This parade was WAY better than the pioneer day parade. Cooler enteries, and lots of candy, popcicles, water and treats!!
After the parade we went to do some arts and crafts. Grandma was a great sport to help the girls make things.
We picked rasberries
Had to take a break to get MJ's tooth pulled. She was very brave, even though she did not want to be.
I love the flowers around the office
The girls and I went to the bounce houses while the others got our Indian Taco dinners.
We had a great time at the concert, even though we had no idea who the counrty singer was.
We made it to church the next day. Maissie even wore a Sunday hat :)

Conquering the Monkey Bars
Maissie has been working hard on trying to get across the monkey bars. She finally did it, and I was there to document it :)

Back yard camp out
As part of our last weekend on top of the mountain, Mark decided to have a back yard camp out. Of course it was a huge success, even with it drizzling rain most of the night.
This is Jens eating her breakfast, in her church dress in top of the stairs in the back yard.

After church they wanted to play some more.

Swimming at the Pool
Suncrest has a great pool. It was even better once Jens realized she could go down the slide all by herself. And even better once I realized I could take Mac down on my lap.
We tried to go as much as we could, but we did get rained out a couple times.

That Maissie
Maissie loves to draw (Def gets that from Mark) She has been working on giraffe pictures for me. Here is the evolution of MJ's giraffe:
And here is a note she threw down the stairs one night
And this is Maissie being Rapunzel and letting down her golden hair from the top of the stair case.

Let me Translate:
Dear Dad, There is a spider in my room. It scared me when I saw it. love Maissie. Dear Dadddy I love you.

A night in SLC
We got a hotel room in downtown Salt Lake so we could hang out and then go to teh pioneer parade.
Mark was a super sport and swam with the kids in the freezing, slightly questionable water.
Then we walked over to temple square. Of course it was beautiful.
