Yesterday Maissie was going to play with her friend up the street. She informed me as soon as she found out she was going that she would walk up there her self. NOT with me. Her friend house is about quarter mile and I wasn't 100% that she new which house it was (all the houses look the same). So I told her she could go, but we would follow her. So she walked about 100 yards in front of us (Jens and I walked with Angus). She kept turning around to check to see where we were. But she made it, and didn't wave good bye or acknowledge we were there :)

I love it. At least you won't have to worry that she'll miss you and throw a fit when Kindergarten rolls around. :)
Its a little sad to see that maybe we need them more than they need us huh? they grow too fast!!
