And THAT is what friends are for

When we go to Utah one of the best and our favorite place to stop is the Malmgrens. They are super cool people and we always have a good time with them. AND it seems like we always come away with great stuff. This time was super sweet. Lis made this hat-Yeah, it might look like he is unhappy, but it is just because he has yet to realize how awesome his hat is. Did I mention Lis made that? AND she made this adorable sweater.

Mike even tried to give us the dog. Jensyn would have totally taken him, but, you know, we had to draw the line somewhere.
The funny thing about us and the Malmgrens is we are on opposite ends of the height chart. This is Maddy, who is 10 and Maissie who is 5.

Weekend in Utah

We got to go pick up MJ from the Lemons over Labor Day weekend. The Malmgrens were nice enough to feed us and let us sleep at their house. But we really just stayed with them for the Rock Band.

I was relieved that MJ was happy to see us. She was actually really excited to see us. I wish I would have had the camera out.

Mark, Jim and David went to the football game and MJ, Kathleen, Jens and I went to Applebees and shopping.

I will spare you pictures of the 15+ diapers that we changed in one day because someone had the poops.

But this is a picture of the kitty at Grandma Kathryn's house. The girls got a kick out of the kitty's fur.

Ode to Lis

Can you name some who you have been friends with the longest? I can. And some day I will be as cool as her :). (Really, I just wanted to put up this picture :))
